Christopher Stineman to J.L. Stineman
Know all men by these presents: That I, Christopher Stineman, of the County of Brown, and State of Ohio, in consideration of the sum of Twenty Five Hundred Dollars, to him paid by J.L. Stineman, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant, bargain sell, and convey to the said J.L. Stineman, his heirs and assigns forever, the following Real Estate, situate (sic.) in the County of Brown, in the State of Ohio, and in the Township of Franklin, and on the waters of westfork of Straight Creek, and bounded and described as follows: viz: being part of a Survey of 1000 acres made in the name of William Langburns heirs, No. 12568, Beginning at an oak, and hickory; thence N.W. corner of Survey No. 4019, Thence N.9, W.122 poles, to a maple, and Gum, N.E. corner of Huron's Survey No. 4020; Thence with a line of said Survey S.80, W.96 poles, to a stone, witnessed by Two Ashes; Thence N.12, W.105 poles, to a stake in the original line, thence with said line, S.63 1/2, E.221 8/10 poles, to a leaning hickory pin oak, and a little white oak, Shaffer's corner, in said line; thence with Shaffer's line, S.108 poles, to two Bur Oaks, amd a pin oak in the line of Survey NO. 4019; thence with said line N.89, W. 64 poles, to the beginning, containing One Hundred Acres, be the same more or less, Second Tract; Beginning at a stone in a County Road, in an Original line of the Survey; Thence with said Line N.81', E.95 poles, to a Gum and Maple, N.E. corner to the Survey; Thence with another line of the Survey S.90,E.40 poles, to a stone and oak; and hickory: Thence with a line of Francis Hauck, S.81", W.122 1/2 poles, to a stone in said Road, corner to said Hauck; thence with said Road N.26", E.49 poles to the beginning, containing Twenty Seven Acres, and Thirty Poles (27 A. O. Po, 30 P.), poles of a Survey of 200 Acres made in the name of James Harran by No. 4020, lying on the waters of Straight Creek, in the County and State aforesaid, To have and to hold said premises with all the priveleges and appurtinances, thereunto belonging to the said J.L. Stineman his heirs, and assigns forever, and the said Christopher Stineman for himself and his heirs, does hereby covenant, with the said J.L. Stineman, his heirs and assigns, that they are Lawfully seized of the premises aforesaid, that the said premesis are free and clear from all incumberances Whatsoever, and that he will forever warrant and defend the same, with the appurtencnces, unto the said, J.L. Stineman, his heirs, and assigns, against the lawful claim of all persons whomsoever: In witness whereof of the said Christopher Stineman who hereby relinquish all right of dower (?) in the premises, hereunto sets his hands and seals this 7th day of November, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty Eight, Signed, Sealed, and acknowledged in presence of

Be it remembered, that on this 7th day of November, A.D. 1888, before me the subscriber, a Justice of the Peace, in and for said County, personally came the above-named Christopher Stineman, the grantor in the foregoing deed, and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the same, to be his voluntary act and deed, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed my (xxxx) (?) seal, on the day and year last aforesaid,
