Beekman-Old Penn Cemetery, Mifflin Township, Pike County, Ohio

Location: It is located about 200 yards off Beavers Ridge Road behind the former Wylo Garman farmhouse, left of the garage. If coming west on Ohio State Route 124, turn left on Beavers Ridge Road at Idaho, go about ten miles to cemetery on right. If traveling from Latham, Ohio, go south on Grassy fork Road to Beavers Ridge Road. turn left to Garman farm.

Six graves located.
O'BRIANT, CHARLES 1786-1860
Charles O'Briant, born in Virginia on 6th of April 1786, died December 31st 1860, farmer; served in War of 1812 as a Private in Captain Joe Rockhold's Company; married Sarah Ann, born 1808, Ohio; known children: John M. born 1837, William T. born 1841, Elizabeth A. born 1848.

BEEKMAN, SARAH 1861-1865
Sarah Beekman, daughter of Winfield S. and Catherine Beekman, died Oct. 7th 1865, age 4 yrs. 8 mos. 2 dys.

BEEKMAN, CATHERINE 1820-1871
Catherine (Nace) Beekman, wife of Winfield Beekman died 13 Dec. 1871, age 50 yrs.5 mos 4 dys.

BEEKMAN, WINFIELD S. 1821-1882
Winfield S. Beekman born 29 Nov. 1821, son of Abraham and Amelia (O'Briant) Beekman; died 7 April 1882; married first Sarah Catherine Nace; married second Irene Evans; children: Hannah J., Charles c., Anna, Samuel W., Elizabeth and Sarah Beekman.
